The Bodhi Tree preserved on our campus is said to have been planted in the 19th century. A member of the family of fig trees, it is also known by its botanical name Ficus Religiosa. It symbolizes wisdom, compassion and hope.
Like our Bodhi Tree, which has witnessed change and survived the passage of time, our virtual Wishing Tree represents respect for our past and a yearning for a better future - one marked by education, wisdom and compassion.
